The Indian calling tablet line-up gets an addition this week, with Karbonn Mobile introducing its TA Fone A37 tablet in the country. In the past 2 weeks or so, we have seen many brands entering the fonblet segment in the country and we expect others to follow suit as well.
The fonblet, TA Fone A37 is the company’s second offering in the calling tablet segment after the brand previously launched its A34 tablet last year and is priced at Rs 9,490 in the country, with an expected official launch to happen in the coming days.
The A37 sports a 17.7-cm (7-inch) display and runs Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean version. The tablet is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor but 512 MB RAM only. In terms of memory storage, the tablet supports 4 GB internally and microSD slot for further expansion. Camera wise, there is a 2 MP rear camera and 0.3 MP front-facing camera for video calling.
The dual-SIM support is (GSM + GSM) and offers 3G connectivity, apart from that you have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and voice calling features. For back-up the device is loaded with a 3,000 mAh battery.
