I don’t know, why people are asking me some strange questions like, “why do you always share animals and environment related posts”,” why do you have interest in animal rights and environmental issues”.
So here is my answer!!
I WANT TO LIVE, NOT JUST SURVIVE.
All things on earth are interconnected and we (human being) are breaking the chain. We are running blindly and this blind race is taking us no-where.
I am not asking to you to believe me when I say, “that the amount of CO2 and other greenhouse gases released by human activities is far more than ecosystems can absorb”, but do believe me when I say, “that we are still doing this and we have to reduce our impacts. The issue is not whether to believe in climate change or not. The issue is whether to follow science or not. The day when all scientists with 100% certainty warn you against climate change, it will be too late. If your doctor was 85% sure you had a serious disease, you would immediately start looking for the cure. Why should we take bigger risks when it’s the health of our planet at stake?”
I am not asking to you to believe me when I say, “that don’t eat meat, it is bad for your health as well as for your environment but do believe me when I say,”that just for the sack of meat production, thousands of gallons of water are wasted in cleaning away the filth in factory farms, transport trucks, and slaughterhouses and eventually dump the water into rivers, which pollute our waterways more than all other industrial sources combined. Just because of consumption is very high, now farming has a new name “animal agriculture”. Where thousands of trees are cut down just to make animal shelters, slaughterhouse and human grow grain, soybeans, oats, and corn on that land, and later fed to farmed animals.”
I am not asking to you to believe me when I say, “that don’t burn fossil fuel because fossil fuels contain high percentages of carbon”, but do believe me when I say,” that It takes more than 11 times as much fossil fuel to make one calorie from animal protein as it does to make one calorie from plant protein. Raising animals for food swallows up precious energy. Fossil fuels are non-renewable resources because they take millions of years to form. The production and use of fossil fuels raise environmental concerns. The principle of supply and demand suggests that as supplies diminish, prices will rise. So it’s high time, we should use different alternative sources of energy include hydroelectric, solar, wind, and geothermal.”
